Juventus have named ex- Italy head coach Luciano Spalletti to take the helm until the end of the season.
The 66-year-old replaces Igor Tudor, who was let go post the Lazio setback on Sunday.
The former boss came on board in March to replace Thiago Motta but exited following a seven-month stint following a string of eight matches without a victory.
Under Spalletti, Napoli clinched the Serie A championship in 2022-23 prior to assuming the Italy role, which missed out on the 2022 World Cup with Mancini at the helm.
He helped them qualify for Euro 2024 exiting in the last 16 stage against Switzerland.
Yet, the Italian FA let Spalletti go in June after a World Cup qualifying defeat by Norway, as Italy faced the possibility of not making a third World Cup in a row.
Spalletti's managerial career includes Inter Milan, Roma, and Udinese in Serie A and won the Russian Premier League twice with Zenit St Petersburg.
Juventus were temporarily led by Massimo Brambilla for their 3-1 win against Udinese on Wednesday placing them seventh in the Serie A standings - trailing leaders Napoli by six points after nine matches.
In the Champions League, they sit 25th in the league phase, after recording one defeat and two ties in the initial three fixtures.
